Roald Dahl once had some advice on driving over snakes - don't. Apparently, there is the possibility of the snake being caught on the wheel and thrown up into the cockpit if you had your window open...

I saw it at the last second and tried to miss it, which caused me to clip the end if it, which caused it to jump up in to the air. I didn't know what it was until I turned around to see what I hit.

Ahh, I didn't know you moved. I moved to Calgary for a few years before coming back to the 'loops. Alberta's nice, but you'll miss the B.C. roads. Good luck with your new home & job!

This is my second go in Ded Reer, but this time I've got a solid job that isn't slaving away out in the patch. Monday to Friday in a shop making things sharp, home every night and a really good pay scale. I'm also a short drive from Castrol Raceway and there's a track day there the day after my birthday and an autocross a couple of days later in Red Deer, which has a health club so I can train better train for GT Academy 2015! :)
